When I saw in movie listings that Toy Story 3 was going to be premiere in my town, I knew that I should go to see it. This film has got Lee Unkrich, as Director (He also was Co-Director in Toy Story 2 and Finding Nemo); Michel Arndt, as screenwriter; Randy Newman, as resposable of sound track. And the voice of Tom Hanks is the most highlighted, between a very good cast, that include names as Timoty Allen, Joan Cusack or Donald Jay Rickles.
In this film, the Andy´s toys have to do face the new situation: Andy is started a new time in his life; he will go to the University. The boy decides bring one toy with him, only one toy between all of his childhood’s friends (Woddy, Buzz and Co.). The rest of toys should go to the penthouse, but a several fail do that all of them start an incredible and interesting story. This story brings places where all is not as pretty as we see.
My mind has been surprised other time, although I will hope a very good graphics and special effects, this movie overcome my expectative. The effects are awesome (when you see the fire, you will think that the fire is here!) or the quality of surface’ toys appear as real objects. I have to say that I saw the film in 3D, but other people, that also view the film but in normal screen, say that all is fantastic.
Other interesting point is the music. Randy Newman get that the soundtrack helps to build a part of the specific context, in each situation of the film.
But, in my opinion, the best thing in the film is the sense of humour expressed around the story. Although the plot brings dramatic actions, you will have your laughs in a good place; have you see a spaceman dancing with a cowgirl? Then, you have to go to see the film!
In summary, Toy Story 3 is a very interesting and good film. If you are of the people that saw the other two films, you should go to the cinema, if you don’t see Toy Story 2 and Toy Story, I also recommended you this film. Is a film created to children, but is not necessary to be a child to enjoy with it. This movie also includes teachings about love, fragility and resignation.
